Temperature Field of the Deep Underground

Establishing geothermal power stations or geothermal heating centers  requires reliable data about underground temperatures and thermo-hydraulic rock parameters. As the owner of the biggest database of underground temperatures in Germany and basing on the data about the hydraulic properties of rock formations available at Hannover Geocenter, LIAG is requested continously to make expertises to the feasibility of geothermal installations in selected areas. Moreover, LIAG provides regional and supranational studies about the potential of geothermal energy.
